Christmas is coming and Evie is getting excited! With her mammy and daddy she helps to make the pudding, ice the cake, and decorate the tree. And then, her Christmas wishes start to come true: she gets a singing part in the school Nativity play, it snows, and Uncle Sean announces he is coming home for Christmas. But Evie’s biggest wish of all comes true at the end of the story, when Uncle Sean and his wife arrive at Dublin airport with a miraculous surprise…

About the Author

Siobhán Parkinson is the author of more than 30 books for children, teens, and adults, as well as several translations from German. She was made Ireland’s first ever Children’s Laureate in 2010, and is the founder of Little Island Books. She lives in Dublin with her husband.

Shannon Bergin is an Irish illustrator, avid doodler, and tea drinker. She graduated from the Limerick School of Art and Design with a BA(Hons) in Animation and Motion Design, and recently self-published her first children’s picture book How to Grow a Girl. She loves books, fairy tales, and mythology, and tries to incorporate these into her storytelling.
