Names for the Sea
Sarah Moss was inspired to move to Iceland by one memorable summer spent there when she was 19. Upon seeing a posting for a job at the University of Iceland, Moss uprooted her life and moved there. Despite the economic crash and the eruption of Eyjafjallajokull, she quickly fell in love with the stark beauty of the country. Most of all though, it is the people and their way of life that kept Moss enthralled with Iceland.
About the Author
Sarah Moss is the author of seven novels and a memoir of her year living in Iceland, Names for the Sea, shortlisted for the RSL Ondaatje Prize.
