About the Author

Philip Kindred Dick was an American writer known for his work in science fiction. He wrote 44 published novels and approximately 121 short stories, most of which appeared in science fiction magazines during his lifetime. His most famous works include The Man in the High Castle, A Scanner Darkly and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, the inspiration for the film Blade Runner. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential authors of science-fiction of all time.
