Frances Eliza Hodgson Burnett was a British-American novelist and playwright. She is best known for her three children’s novels Little Lord Fauntleroy, A Little Princess, and The Secret Garden. Frances Eliza Hodgson was born in Manchester in 1949. She died in 1924.
