Returns and Refunds

At LitVox, we want you to be very happy with any items bought from us. However, in the event of you needing to return an item or cancel an order here is how it works:

If you change your mind;

You can cancel your order for any reason up to the point of dispatch and any payments made to us will be refunded in full as soon as possible. Occasionally we may be unable to process a refund right away, but it will definitely be processed within 28 days of purchase. If you cancel an order that has already been shipped, and we have sent you an e-mail confirming this, you may still cancel your order but we will need to charge you the delivery fee. LitVox makes no profit from our postage/delivery fees, and the value of this aspect of the purchase cannot be recovered by us.

When you purchase online, you have a statutory right to return a product (other than a special order) up to 14 days after your order has been delivered (cooling off period). We can change or cancel an order up until it is dispatched. In the event that your order has already been dispatched, you can return the product to us in its original packaging and we will organise a refund (excluding delivery fee). You must inform us of your intention to return the product by e-mail to hello@litvox.com within 14 days of making your order and must return the product to us within 28 days of delivery. 

If you have placed a customised order with us (for example a tailor-made gift bundle) which will be clearly indicated upon order, then the items are being made specifically for you. These are non-refundable / non-returnable. Of course, we always aim to be reasonable, so do get in touch and we’ll try to accommodate you as best we can.

 

If the Product is not what you expected;

We aim to give you accurate descriptions of all our goods, but in the event of it not being what you expected we’ll be happy for you to return the items and give you a full refund. Due to the nature of digital reproduction and screen calibration we cannot guarantee the accuracy of colour depictions of our items, (particularly book covers, which are liable to change from publishers at a moment’s notice) please feel free to contact us at hello@litvox.com for further information about any of our products, we’re more than happy to talk at length about our goods and services.

Please note; Many of our items are sold following personal recommendations from our bookselling team. Our team endeavour to only recommend books based on the information regarding your tastes and preferences that you provide. In the event that you purchase books based on these recommendations, read (or partially read) them and decide that you do not like them, we regret that this cannot be considered by LitVox to be a valid reason for a refund or return.

Damaged goods:

We ocurrently operate in an online-only capacity, and we ensure that all items are in pristine and working condition when dispatched by  us. However, delivery services and postal systems being what they are, we acknowledge that occasionally goods may arrive in less-than-perfect condition. Should this happen, simply notify us immediately, and return the product to us within 28 days. We will process a full refund for you, as well as covering the cost of any shipment or postage you incur.
